I am a 30 year old black female studying towards her PhD. I am a mother of one 7 year old daughter (My Heart). We currently live in beautiful Barbados where I am conducting research. I am a self-confessed product junkie. I buy stuff and start to use it, then become interested in something else and the previous product has been cast aside. The cycle is constantly perpetuated. Eventually I give away the stuff I know I will never get back to. Late last year, my dermatologist told me tht my skin had become very sensitive and had developed allergies. I therefore had to limit the about of products I used. I was devastated. I decided, I my interest should rest more firmly on makeup.
I have been using makeup for about 15 years. It started out with lipstick and lipgloss. Recently and I stress only recently I started to experiment with eyeshadow. Two or three years ago I started wearing eyeshadow but I stuck to shades of brown which were hard to get wrong. I have finally added some colour this year and I am totally in love with the look.
